Since every dog is unique, and each owner has certain goals for training, my programs and pricing are client specific. First, I’d like to meet you for an evaluation. We will have a conversation about your dog. This gives you an opportunity to see my training technique, before you sign up for lessons, so that we can ensure that I am the right fit for you and your dog. There are two options for this evaluation.
The first is an Evaluation with First Lesson, which takes place at your home. The evaluation takes approximately one hour, and the fee is $150 (depending on location). During the evaluation, I will ask questions about you, your family and how you handle your dog on a day to day basis, as well as your goals for training. I will consider breed, age, temperament, health issues and more. I will then make your life easier, by offering suggestions and recommendations, which will help you right away! The benefit of evaluating your dog in your home is that I can see the dog’s environment and your relationship with them now. Dogs present more confidently in their own environment, where they are most comfortable. This gives me a great advantage in assessing your needs, thus tailoring training for your specific situation.
The second is Residence Training. The evaluation can be done in my home. If you’re considering Residence Training, we can set up a time to meet at my house. We can answer all of your questions, take a look around and make sure this is the right fit for you and your dog. There is no charge for you to come over, look around, discuss training technique and plan, and get all your questions answered.
