“AAAWWW our puppy is sooo cute!” THAT’S THE PROBLEM! Just look at him! I know, I want to hug him too!
But there’s a right time for that. I don’t have to teach you how to love them, I have to teach you how to train and set some limits. You and your puppy need to address house-training, stop play-biting, walking on leash, how to socialize, what to chew, crate training, and so much more. All of these things can be addressed immediately upon bringing the new guy into your home. In fact, preventing behavior problems by teaching puppies what to do, instead of what not to do, is much more effective than waiting for a problem.
This program is generally 4 lessons for young puppies beginning at 8 to 12 weeks of age and includes an introduction to basic obedience positions. Spend time now and avoid problems later.
